The River

~Description~

A nice flowed river, it used to run to the creek, for some
reason it has changed paths and the creek gets water else where.

~Prey~

The main source of prey is fish, although very rarely, but occasionally,
deer who come for a drink, but the river s not the best drinking water,
grizzles are sometimes here during the salmon run.

Bear Encounter! When coming to the River during the seasons Spring, Summer and Autumn,
you have to check if there are any bears, the land is a perfect utopia for wolves, but if there
is prey, their are predators, prey have prey and predators have predators, watch out!

Nevan walked on the outskirts of the territory. Along side the lake. The albino stumbled on a rock 'So... I will go blind in the end' he thought negatively. The male looked up at Keli who walked alongside him and he smiled. "I love you Keli. More then anything in the world" He whispered with a shy grin peeking around his face. They walked and talked for bout five or ten minutes. He talked about how being an Omega would be the best life he could ever ask for, then to be without her. Attempted murder? Who cares. Nevan didn't. He would be strong. Unlike his brother who ended his life at the sight of his dream-girl going just a little bit crazy. Nev re-read that in his head and realized it did make sense why Jay ended up dying. Nev sighed before looking at the silvery gray fae.

Soon enough, the two had walked to the end of the river. All of a sudden a new scent filled the air. A sour musky scent. Nev almost wanted to hurl. He had only smelt this scent once before andthat time it was faint. Even so, he knew what it was. Bear. Two of them. A little up stream. The wind was blowing the other way so they had not noticed them. Nev was intrigued to find out that the two were male, brothers? He had thought. The brute may be an Omega but he was still had the heart of a warrior. The brute stepped in front of his mate fur bristling.

The fish run had ended early this year so a couple unlucky bears were hungry and angry this approaching winter. These two were apparently were some of those unlucky bears. Just as this new wolf couple were unlucky. The bears growled, a deep loud noises and slashed at the stream to find anything to eat. Just as Nevwas about to pull back and suggest to run, the wind changed directions and the bears small round ears perked. Two large brown grizzly beasts whipped their heads around. Most bears wouldn't really bother to attack a wolf but to them the wolves were a threat. "RUN KELI!" He yelled as he nudged her. The two ran as the bears charged. The famished bears did not have the energy but he knew that they would strike again.

Bear and wolf. The two of the three huge predators of the forest. Only one can be at the top of the food chain.

Nev and Keli run to the camp to tell the pack the news.

ORSON- Older brother bear.
Orson looked over at his brother and grumbled "Well?"

ARCADIUS- Younger brother bear. Superior and leader.
Arcadius looked at his big brother. Even though he was older he was slightly smaller and less muscular, also he was a bit more soft. "Not 'Well?'" He mimicked "We will be awake this winter. We were to late" He said in a growl under his breath. "Those pesky wolves! It's hard enough to fight for the food during the warm seasons" Ardadius continued. The grizzly paced back in forth "This territory... Here... It is much to nice for a couple of mutt's to be running around in. I think if we see them again we drive them out" He thought aloud "And I will make sure we see them again."

ORSON- Older brother bear.
Orson nodded, obeying his brother's orders.

Zaylex snuck into a bramble bush, creeping as closely as possible without disturbing any of the leafy branches.

He could only make out a bit of the bears' dialogue, thick and heavy accents and growls covering the voice mostly. Nevanko had not been lying. The grizzlies were giant, furry creatures, and Zay was shocked by looking at their paws. The monstrous bears had paws as large as a pup's body, claws as long as his fangs.

They would need more than double their patrol to take one of those creatures out. Zaylex could feel slight movement behind him, and cursed in his mind.

Keli was trembling terribly, and accidentally shaking the leaves around her. The bears scared her greatly, she knew if one found her, Zaylex would not help her. The silver fae would be on her own if attacked, unless Nevanko somehow showed up or Legend decided to help. However, Zaylex would probably just tell him to run and leave her body for the crows to eat, and that also terrified her.

Keli couldn't help her extreme shaking, nor the somewhat loud rustling it caused, although the femme tried to calm her mind. Keli held in a gasp as she saw the large bear sniff around, trembling more than before.

Her shimmering form faded into existence beside her sister, "Keli." she said softly, unsure of why she had appeared beside the female. Kira had been soaring around the treetops and chasing pine needles in the wind when she had discovered herself teleported to Keli. "Keli stop shaking." she said firmly. Kira knew that Keli was the only wolf able to hear and see her, it had happened with Zaylex too.

In unison bears turned their heads around. Arc stands up talll on two feet and slams down making he ground tremble. HE GROWLSA AND ROARS AS LOAD AS HE CAN. (Oopps caps)

Orson does the same thing pretty well. He stands up tall making them seem bigger then they actually are which is still pretty big.

Zaylex whispered to the patrol, "Run to the pack, tell Fella if I'm not back in an hour to send back up."

He then stood and barked to the bears, "What is your purpose here?" Trying to be as clear-sounding as possible to convey the message.

Orson: Walked closer to the wolf and growls, ready to attack if the black wolf tries.

Zaylex growled at the bear. He needed to show them that wolves were not to be laughed at.
Zay brought his paw back and swung it at the smaller bear, scraping his cheek and drawing a sticky red substance.
He realized how rash his actions were, especially without any backup, and braced for a quick response.

(You can severely injure Zay, just don't kill him.)

Arcadius was pretty shocked when he attacked his brother. 'Cocky little wolf' He thought slightly angry.

ORSON- Older brother bear.
Ore jumped back a bit, or shifted back a bit. The male bear stood up once again and slammed his was down using his 700 pounds of body weight. In this blow he scratched both of his shoulders. Orson's long sharp claws easily went threw his coat of fur and teared then skin underneath. It was a sharp clean cut, nothing that couldn't be healed. Itj ust would hurt. A lot.

The black ebony wolf coughed down a yelp, as both shoulders were leaking blood, deep clean cuts. The wolf obviously went strait into it and attacked back. Jumping forth for the bears head again...

ORSON- Older brother bear.
Ore stepped back instead of going to attacking the wolf who was jumping towards him. He flinched and tensed awaiting the hit but when he peeked through his eyes, Arc a some point got up and rushed over to Orson's side because when the wolf was barely inches from his face Arc got his left paw, LEFT paw and hit the wolf in mid air, sending him back and hitting a tree.

Arc glanced at his brother who now had a un-clean small gash in his face. The wolf's claws had beed ragged so the cut wouldn't heal fast. Arcadius walked over to the wolf, badly injured but not dead. The grizzly raised his paw... "That's enough..." Ore muttered. Arc turned over to look at his brother "Since when did you get to tell me what to do?" "Brother... We have already won this battle" Arcadius gave him a strong hard glare then walked away from the wolf.

ORSON- Older brother bear.
Orson sighed and watched as Arc pretended not to, but did, walk away while saving his left arm from touching the ground for to long. Bears were so big that they all walked kinda funny looking but when you were a bear yourself you could easily notice the smallest difference. Ore turned and looked at the wolf, he was breathing. The male picked him up by his scruff 'Like carrying a fat bear cub' he thought as he carefully dragged him towards the direction he came from.

There was no way he would take him all the way to his camp, surely the wolves would attack. So he just walked semi-closer to it and left him in the forest. As he was carrying him he could smell many scents of different wolves. Some older then himself some younger. Some pups. It made Orson cringe at the thought he would have a day where he would be killing them. "Leave. You and your pack get out of the territory and don't come back" He said in a harsh and as clear as he could so the wolf would understand. He didn't want the wolves to so him and his brother could take over he just didn't want the wolves to be attacked. Hopefully the wolf didn't notice he was actually a softy following his brother around.

Orson abandoned the body. He reeked so he figured the pack would find him in time, doing one of those patrol thingies. The grizzlies thoughts went back to the fight earlier in the day. 'Why? First of all, why did Arc get out of his away to protect me? And why would he use his left arm?' Any bear would use his left arm in that situation. t was the close arm, it would be awkward to bring over your right arm just to hit that one blow.

When the two were younger, probably two and a half season cycles ago, it was late spring, and Orson was walking out into the 'road' a place where 'humans' rode their 'cars' And anyways, he was going to the other side where he spotted a pear tree. Ore thought he should get one for his brother and when he walked out a car thing was coming strait at him. He growled and roared loudly but it didn't stop. Arc came out of no where and jumped between him and the car, seconds later the car drove right into him, smashing his left arm.

When Orson got back to the spot where his brother was by he river, or where it used to be he saw Arc furiously dragging his tongue over his arm Orson sighed. One moment Arc would kill him just for a one huckleberry and the next he would die for him. Orson just didn't get it. When Arcadius smelled his brother he tucked his paw away "There you are! Go get me something to eat!" He growled. Orson ignored him and walked over. "It hurts doesn't it... Here let me see" Ore whispered "Breaking all the rules today" his little brother replied then un tucked his arm.

Orson looked at it. He could never get used to the way it bent and the way it looked up close. From a far, or evenn meters away, Arc looked like one of the most beastly bears around but from the distance Orson he could clearly see it. Orson ran his tongue over it. He could hear his brother's heavy breathing. Even after that day when he broke his arm in the accident he continued walking around and traveling, look for a place to make their territory. Orson begged him to stop and let it heal but he said stopping was for the weak.

rson got up and walked towards the half frozen over river. He broke a thin wet piece of ice and carried it over to his brother. He gentle put it down on slid it down his arm. "Better?" Arc didn't reply. Which meant yes but his pride was to high to say it. Orson lay down right next to him so it looked like they were one big blob of fur, Arc nuzzeled him slightly but stopped and just cuddled up closer instead. Orson smiled. When they woke up Arc would most likely slap him on the face for 'Taking advantage of him' and then yell at him to get him something to eat.

It was a twisted brotherly love.

Arcadius stirred in his sleep. He woke up with a yawn and pushing his brother in the other direction. He felt completely energized. Arc's stomach growled slightly tho. He looked at the pile, there was enough for the both of them for the rest of the day but then they would have to go find more food, With the pack right there all being quick and quickedy quick food was dissapearing quickly...

ORSON- Older brother bear.
Orson awoke after being pushed over. he and his brother both eyed the killpile. They ate together in silence. "That snell..." He started.

ARCADIUS- Younger brother bear. Superior and leader.
"Wolf" He finiched

Zander thought for a while 'what if they go to the camp and go after the pups? Then ima do this for them though I might doe' he thought walking out of the shadows so the bears could see him and growled loudly.

Orson roared back. Twice as loud. He stomped toward the bear and slammed down his paws, shaking the near ground. A threat,. Not an attack

'Stubborn wolf... Just like the other one... I think this one is stronger though...' He thought watching his brotehr and the wolf "Get him outta here... Now."

ORSON- Older brother bear.
Orson nodded and looked at the red wolf. Unlike woles who usaully configured strategy. Bears used brute force. Ore bolted strait at him. The bear knocked into the wolf. Ore's eyes widened from the shock himself but shook it off and got ready for his atack.

ORSON- Older brother bear.
It was manily scruff and fur that the wolf bit into but he did manage to peirce the skin. Orson shook his head, trying to skhake him off, he seemed to be able to cling on. Ore was able to get him self to stand up and slowly moved himself to the tree that was about a meter away. Ore leaned forward smashing the wolf on the tree. \he grapped one of his fore-paws and scratched his claws down the wolf's flank. The wolf let go and Ore stumbled back but caught himself so he did not fall.

Zander yelped lowly as he was hit against the tree he then got up slowly growling at the bear as his flank bled. The red male then went charging at the bear his sharp teeth preticing into the bears skin of the bears throat.

The wolf was presistent. More and more blood streamed from his neck. Ore growled not happy. He shook his head and waved around. This time succesful on dislatching the wolf. The bear went strait for the wolf the second he let go. Orson aimed for the next as he did but missed, instead, his huge jaws latched on to an arm.

Zander yelped as the beard's jaw latched onto one of his arm and started to to growl loudly and tried to bite the bear's neck and was successful and bit down hard.

ORSON- Older brother bear.
Orson roared grapping his sharp claws and tearing the wold from him, ripping a entire chunk from his neck. Oreson eyes were blood shot and he growled louder then he ever did before. He slammed his claws down on him like he did to the last wolf, cutting both arms all teh way down, only deeper.

ARCADIUS- Younger brother bear. Superior and leader.
Arc gulped not sure if she get up in help. Yes. He should. Arc came up from behind Orson. He looked down at the small wolf. Angry he hurt his brother. His fur was bristeling and he looked like a monster not a bear. Arc took his good right paw and slashed down on the wolf, followed by him swatting him was a large hand that sent him two meters.

Both bears loomed toward him. If Zander was smart he would leave. He could get back to the pack and their healers could heal him. He may have some, no he would have some injuries for the rest of his ife but he would live. he could stay their and try to fight... He would definately die.

(I need you to run... Still gonna die but rtill run from the bears :3)

Reese watched the entire time. To happy to even blink. The she-wolf looked around. No one. Well of course. Why would amywolf come down to the river? The white fae walked over to Zander's body as he struggled to get away. If she let him, he would live. Reesa ran after him, easily cathing up. "Zander..." She said lightly. Her face was expressionless so he would have no idea. Even if he did, She was more then capeable to take out this already almost dead wolf.
